The Story
Born from a real problem
Excitel Broadband, one of India’s fastest-growing FTTH providers, was transitioning from traditional LCO networks to fibre. They needed to manage thousands of OLTs and millions of ONUs across multiple vendors — and no existing tool could do it. Extreme Labs built NetSense to solve exactly that.
Dogfooded on our own network
Before releasing NetSense commercially, Extreme Labs deployed it across its own Internet Exchange infrastructure — 45+ PoPs across India. Every bug, missing feature, and performance bottleneck was found and fixed in production before a single customer saw it.
Proven at scale with Excitel
NetSense went live on Excitel’s network, delivering 29% faster issue resolution, 28% reduction in user downtime, and 20% leaner operations. It became the backbone of their NOC workflow.
TR-069 ACS and CPE management
